A little bit of history about our company
The name was changed in 1999 as we thought Dave Blunden Ltd sounded like a one man band operation and the fact that Dave actually retired in the same year made sense.
The building is privately owned by Steve which makes operation matters a lot easier.
Our Building Cromwell House was originally built in 1908 and used for many years as a Gospel Hall and the original plans, which are on display in reception, show the pews layed out. Many people who come in often say "where's the collection tray" or cross themselves in jest.
The building was doubled in size in 1953 this time with a flat roof and four exceptional 8'x4' pyramid skylights. The floor of the building is beautiful, made of solid wood 2" thick parquet tiles which were also extended into the extension and the high pitched roof is also original which has matured into a deep red mahogany colour along with the support beams.
